Tour Overview
The M41 Pamir Highway is one of the world's legendary road trips โ a high-altitude route through the 'Roof of the World' that tops 4,655 m at the Ak-Baital pass. This is not a tour for everyone: it demands acclimatisation, flexibility, and a spirit of genuine adventure. The reward is landscapes of raw, almost-alien beauty.

The highest point on the Pamir Highway โ a moon-like plateau where yaks graze and the air is thin.

Yurt Homestays
Stay with Kyrgyz families in traditional yurts beside glittering Karakul Lake (3,914 m above sea level).
